Day! Every day we notice development in our character, like every time we go over the scene we bring a new and improved version of of Natalia and Lomov.

Day2 The charter of Natalia Stepanova is very dense, because she's different person from what Lomov actually wants to perceive her as. She's working very hard in trying to impress him only because she knows that he has the intention of proposing. She starts of by felling pity for Lomov to show that she can be a caring and sensitive person. Lomov manages to aggravate her making her show what type of person she actually is rather than just putting across the message that she is trying to send. 


Day3 i discovered that Natalia has different phases/moods throughout this 2 minuet dialog, i think they include:
-sympathy
-aggravation
-irritation 
-anger
i feel all four of these mood changes are very important, and we would be unable to see who Natalia really is without them. They also show us how stubborn Lomov is because for a person to go from sympathy to anger in under two minuets is just letting us know how much he grinds her gears. 

The more comfortable we are with the dialog the more we begin to focus on our character and how to develop them using techniques from all we have experienced in class up to this point. We can now engage in the context and understanding rather than just reciting lines, we can now build in emotions.  


with each practice we could see significant improvement in the way we developed the characters. 

Throughout class i have learnt new things as week as experience new things. I can see my knowledge of goal growing..  In our performance showing theatre of the oppressed we didn't really face any struggles besides breaking the comedy factor. I liked how the audience had multiple solutions for our performance, showing us that it was a good idea, and could have many possible outcomes. I think one thing we struggled with was trying to incorporate the joker into our performance as an extra.
In comparison to the other group i believe our idea showed a larger form of oppression, because it was clear that all along we had one person who was oppressed. i think the fact that the audience has many possible solutions for the issue let us know that it was a good idea because they is more than one solution making it that everyone can view it in there own perspective rather than be limited to one idea. Whereby gay rights (other groups performance) is something that you can't change the oppressors views regardless of what you say. Because what one views on LGBT rights is entirely there own decision because of many factors; religious belief and upbringing.

Overall both groups did good in my opinion, because we both had to deal with forms of oppression that we don't face on a daily basis.
